2026/2027 Vintage Hills Lego Robotics Club Registration

For all the Lego enthusiasts out there, the Vintage Hills PTA runs a Lego Robotics Club which occur all year long:

The sections progress from building simple models, to designing and programming lego robots, and are a great opportunity for Vintage Hills students.

This is a parent-run club organized through the Vintage Hills PTA.  The clubs will meet every Wednesday from 3pm to 4pm. First session begins on Sept 2nd.
Sign up is done through this Future Fund page on a first come, first served basis.

The club has a $75 fee.  The fees are used to invest in new kits as well as replacement parts and batteries for the kits.

The first club meeting will be on September 2nd.  The last meeting will be on May 19th.  Here’s our exact schedule (note that we have buffers around some of the breaks).

As this is a parent-run club, for each student in the club we need one parent/adult to commit to come to at least 4 club meetings to help us supervise the students throughout the year.  The goal is to have at least one 1 club leader plus 2 parent volunteers there each week.  After registering, please sign up on the Signup Genius.

The parent volunteers will need to have Level 2 volunteer clearance before their first volunteer day.  If you don’t already have Level 2 clearance, you will need to complete the PUSD Volunteer Clearance process which includes “Live Scan fingerprinting”.  Live Scan fingerprinting costs around $69.  Financial assistance is available.

Club B will be lead by 5th-grader parents Igor Ginzburg.  Igor is also the contact person for Lego Robotics overall.  Please contact him with any questions.

On the evening after the last club meeting (Wednesday, May 19th, 2027) we will have an adult-only “Kit Cleanup Night”.  Each student must have at least one parent/adult attend the Kit Cleanup Night, and stay until their student’s kit is restored to good-as-new condition with all parts in place.

When registering, make sure to use an email address that you check regularly.  We will use the address for important announcements throughout the year, and to get early access to next year’s club sections.
